This is the official website for the Earth Science Museum. We are a non-profit organization
working to establish in the Phoenix area a new museum focused on Earth science education. This museum will replace the Arizona Mining & Mineral Museum that closed
its doors in May 2011 to make way for a history museum.
The motto of the Arizona Mining & Mineral Museum was "Discover the Treasure!", but unfortunately that treasure - a world class mineral collection, a valuable resource for Earth science education and a top-rated tourist destination in the Phoenix area - has now been lost. So, we need your help in building a map to find the lost treasure. Join us in our quest to "Rediscover the Mineral Treasure!".
